Had the best time Saturday at Belle's Nest in Sierra Madre.  Making Art Globes with my two new friends Katie and Carmen.  I think it's Vital for women to create, and I just feel totally honored to help them do that.

Dragonfly - a la papier mache

Dragonflies, I've always liked Dragonflies in a kind of "their colors are beautiful, their shapes are streamlined and their presence is ethereal", but if one flies near me, or heaven forbid lands on me, it's a running screaming (not very attractive) Freak Out, with sugar-water having to be administered!

So I guess I made these Dragonflies so I could actually touch them and have them fly near me.
